OMG NO! French President Macron's head will explode!

Maybe the following statements would neutralize this problem...

France says "Germany First!"
England says "France First!"
Spain says "Norway First!"

and so on until we get to Switzerland. I'm not sure what they might do.

Now you've done it. All the Alices around the world will unite, especially if they live upstairs in an old church and run a restaurant. And don't even think about the Arlos in the world.

I'm still trying to get Cracker Barrel to change their name to Caucasian Barrel.

Wes, I was going to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving until I realized the pain that would cause Elizabeth Warren. This thread has me rethinking many of the things that I used to say.

I can't even say "Happy" because depressants will be offended. :( (the emoji is not meant to be offensive!)

Uh, we better not get into politics or the powers that be will lock this otherwise entertaining thread that Edwin started. Ed, I forgot to thank you for it.

Craig - the system does not pick up posts from the "Off Topic" forum, by design, presumably.
Must be configured that way in the phpBB software.
No conspiracy here!

Oh, well. Not trying to push any conspiracy theory here, Greg. Today's politics is way too crazy (can I say evil) to include among friends.

Cliff of you go into bashing other nations again. It's a good job this forum is about American cars and how cool they are!!

However, I tell you what is beyond 'Mildly Insulting' is visiting a town there American's have been killed by fire and getting the name wrong twice. America First!!

You are so correct, us "Yanks" have a long way to go before we've reached the civility of the UK, my apologies to our brothers across the pond.

Leeds Trinity University in the United Kingdom has told its lecturers to avoid using capital letters in their classroom handouts because they upset students, and can “scare students into failure.”

Ray :)

They are already failures if a Capital Letter scares them!

I don't see how you came to that conclusion. Remember that other than Edwin the posts here are sarcastic. If I lived in Ireland I would absolutely believe in the attitude of "Ireland First". If I were Italian it would be "Italy First". The concept of putting your home country second is ridiculous. We all love our countries and want them to be the best they can be. What is sad is calling that nation bashing.

I'm not sure what you mean but I have owned a couple of modern Corvettes. One was a race car and I would have chosen a Porsche GT3 but they were not competitive in that class. I don't intend to offend GT3 owners but those are the facts. Is there nothing that people do not get offended over?

I don't know what you are referring to here. Please explain. Thanks Neil.

I had to google that before I believed you. I'm glad to say I've never heard of that University and I know a few people that have studied in Leeds. I would politely suggest this type of behavior isn't only in the uk (see that I've done for you). Shift F3 can solve or create many problems :)
