He asked [ in fun ] that i say ---IF YOU WANT TO PLACE AN ORDER THE GUY WHO SWEEPS THE FLOOR , TAKES ORDERS, DOES THE SHIPPING---IS OUT OF THE OFFICE FOR AWHILE--AHHHHH LEONARD --keep that attitude going ---DENNIS KAZ

Leonard Turnbeaugh Update

#34 Post by Mary Skamser »

Leonard will be returning to work as of the first of November with the assistance of his wife and son. His wife assures us that Leonard is eager to be out of the hospital and back in the shop, doing what he loves.

The Shasta / NeuTek ad is not in the upcoming November / December issue, but members can find complete contact information by looking on the "Vendors" page under the "Resources" tab.

It is a pleasure to bring such happy news to everyone!

Just spoke to Leonard, he's still in ICU, has a bit of staff infection in his lungs, so is on IV antibiotics for a while longer. They thought he would be able to go home on the 1st of Nov, then the 2nd, then on Monday, but not sure now, possibly another week or more until the infection clears up.
He's able to get around now with his cane, and is looking forward to going home.
Just a reminder there is a Go Fund Me set up for him. https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outl ... reserved=0

Leonard is home, as of a few days before Thanksgiving. He had KC stop at an In and Out Burger on the drive home, so I guess after nearly 8 weeks in the Hospital his oil level is down. I haven't spoken for a week or so, but he's still got a long road to recovery....He was able to stand for a couple of minutes and was trying to cook. Maybe someone has spoken to him this week?
