He is NOT in an induced coma; thank God. Pretty painful, but doctors predict full recovery. Also, thank God!

Hope Leonard is healing up. Just had hung out with him the day before and he is a really great guy that is helping all 356 Vintage racers pursue their dream. Cog

Leonard is still in the hospital in Salinas. He'd contracted pneumonia last week and is now recovering from that. He still has a long way to go to heal the cracked bones.

Paul Christensen up-dated us today on Leonard. He is responding favorably to the pneumonia medication and has been moved to the Monterey Rehab center. Once he can stand and move around on his own, the doctors say he will be released.
Keep those prayers going.

Just got off the phone with LEONARD. He is doing better-- gave us all a scare there for awhile---but in a lot of discomfort. No surgery just months of recovery and rehab. KEEP HIM IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS AS WE ALL SHOULD --HE'S A GOOD GUY -- They say he will make a full recovery just a long road back----DENNIS KAZ

I had a visit with him a couple of days ago, and he's chipper if in a lot of pain, and can't laugh much with the broken sternum, so wan't telling many jokes. His gal Casey is looking after him and thinking they may need to acquire a hospital bed and move him home in a few more weeks.
His Address is:

Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula
23625 Holman Hiway
Monterey, Ca 93940
Room 1165
Garden South

He can use the prayers and good thoughts of all of us..
