I have cut the dart in the rubber that fits flat against the door. I know the flat part is glued to the door the same as the rear. Question: The ribbed part fits against the leading edge. Is it also glued? Does the rubber cover the two holes and plugs which access the window frame or is the rubber trimmed away from the location of the holes/plugs?
Can't find this info in the shop manual or my other reference books. The answer is probably obvious but I didn't take this car apart.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jack

The front rubber is glued to the door. No plugs in the frame access bolt holes. There is a chrome Phillips head screw and trim washer holding the dart.
