Re: Reproduction Phoenix fan belts
Thanks John! It has been a larger and more difficult project than first imagined. Several versions of AutoCad work, then getting the tooling correct, some trial and error on the colors of the ink (yes ink, not paint). Also, the fixture to hold the belt flat and in place had 3 revisions. Anyway, I will release the belts below for sale. Determining price. Looks like I need to sell 100 before I hit breakeven, but hopefully that can be done.
When I offer them, I will make necessary disclaimers that I also hope the buyers understand. I don't make fan belts, I am lettering belts made by Optibelt. Still, sometimes a belt can be installed wrong or whatever issues and have premature wear or break. I won't be accepting responsibility for that.
Also, even though I am using all very modern machines in the process, there is variability in the outcome. Ink is not always even, and having gone through all the options, I believe that the ink was not always even/perfect on the belts made back in the day. So, they are what they are. My best efforts, and I hope some folks buy not only one for the tool kit, but one for use.

Porsche will probably send you a Cease and Desist order soon. Then you will have to hang out outside the Lit meet in a hoodie to sell them.

Gosh, let's hope not! The first batch sold out in 1 hour so I will make more next time. Hope to have them available in 2-3 weeks and I will post in the classifieds then. Thanks to those who ordered. For those interested in them PLEASE send me an email so I know of your interest. Helps greatly with planning.

Re: Reproduction Phoenix fan belts
I already have received one of Paul's fan belts. Super fast shipping but more importantly, it looks great! We have to thank people like Paul who take the time and energy to accurately reproduce parts that are NLA.

Don't miss out on one of these belts. I have seen originals that I would hesitate to run on my engine go for much more than these belts. As a person who has worked in graphics/silkscreening I know that the pre production time to pull this off is tremendous, I placed my order.
