10166 early history?

#1 Post by Peter Linsky »

Might anyone have any information on the provenance of 10166, a 1951-build Azure Blue over gray Reutter cabriolet sold new to a William Wagner of Munich. It was subsequently exported to the US and eventually sold by someone on the east coast to Mr. William Hoff of Illinois around 1989 after which it was restored. In 2017, Mr. Hoff sold the car to its current owner in Florida. I am trying to learn who owned this car when it was exported to the US, and who sold it to Mr. Hoff.

Please contact me directly at linsky911@comcast.net

Bill - Thanks very much. Albert Haefner in Germany just shared the same provenance data. I appreciate the assist.
