Adam, you really should make up a small plaque to put somewhere on the car to acknowledge the particular 550 Spyder from which the transplants came.
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.....

Ok, so the wire form is almost done, so I took a trip out to Wray's to start shaping. Since I scored on the original doors I don't have to worry about those, so I concentrated on the rockers below the doors. I ran out of day but was happy with the results.

Also, Wray is doing his April class on the 550 wire form so if anyone wants to make some 550 metal, sign up here:

Yeah, I hate to leave, it's too much fun.

They kept working after I left and got most of the wire form done, you can check it out here:

Scored one of the last pieces I needed today, the are behind the seats. I can make a pattern off of this one and pop it in.

I only worked on one part of it, real credit goes to Wray and his crew.

Yesterday was a long day but I got a lot done. I finished up all 4 lower panels and got busy on the dash. I ran out of day and it was probably good because the dash was kicking up butt.

Am I the only one who can’t see the pics? I get an error “The selected attachment does not exist anymore”

The whole forum is down in terms of pics, they are doing maintenance.
I was going to work on the car on Thursday but the plan just got scrapped, so no updates this week.

Ok, back in action! Now that the wire form is done I grabbed the tail section that had been hanging from the ceiling of my shop and transported it to Wray's to see how many panels we had finished. It was impressive to get them altogether, and the 550 looked good next to the Maserati. A good day!
