Over the years, helpful members have added their names to the TAN, now making the list up to 98 pages. I assume this list started in a 'simple' format starting with name of member, city, state, country, contact info, etc.; however none of which is organized. Hoping that the board would recommend a change to existing format which would aid anyone based on the location of their breakdown/need for assistance. For example: Country, state, city, name of member, contact info, etc.

I agree. It would be more useful if sorted that way.

A simple online GoogleDocs spreadsheet to access on the run or an Excel spreadsheet for download would help with this.

As a side note, the first option would also allow members to add/remove their details at any time, without the need of a third party - in essence, this would allow the list to be pretty well up-to-date at all times. Been using GoogleDocs spreadsheets for college this semester with other distance study students - amazing how quick it offers the information and also the ability for more than one student to be adding info at any given time.

As long as members have the Spreadsheet link, they can access at will.

Nanette, if you are a TAN member, the list can be downloaded in spreadsheet format (.xls). You could then sort the list to your heart's content.....

Cheers,
Wes

Hi Folks
If you look carefully at the TAN in in the Resources section you will see "Click here to access the North American Interactive Map" ( There is also one for Europe)

You can do this on your smart phone if you are on the side of the road somewhere and determine your proximity to the nearest TAN Member.

This has been up for over a year and I believe it was announced in one of the e-letters

Curt

Click on the "hamburger" on the upper right corner of this page. Then click on Resources and you'll see it.

It is accessed under the Resources section on the top of the page.. easy to find.
interesting.. I am signed up for the TAN, and have been so for a long time.. looked for myself and was not there .. I live in Calgary, Canada..
when you look at the North America map.. it only includes the US..
Anyone know who I could send that question to ??

All this discussion and Curt’s suggestion caused me to try it on my iphoneX. Clicking the hamburger does nothing. Anyone else have that problem?

Bill, go to the opening page of the Registry and click on "Resources". The TAN is listed on the drop down menu. See if that works for you.
