Second shift boot failure

#1 Post by Robert Thiemrodt »

After first boot from Sierre Madre failed, they sent me another one. It failed after two weeks. And that’s without even driving the car. International merchantile does not handle “a” boots. The Wolfsburg boot is not correct, I tried it. Does Stoddard get boots at the same source as Sierre? Would like to buy a 60 year old original, I’m sure it will last.

Robert, Sierra Madre may well get theirs from Stoddard. I would suggest a call to Stoddard and ask for Paul Domitrovic, explain the situation and I am sure he will research the problem and get back to you.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

If it is similar to the older VW's, West Coast Metric in Harbor City, CA probably carries it.
