911 headlights on a 356
Has anyone put the 911 headlights on their 356? I saw an outlaw on Emory's sight that has that and I like it!

You can use the 911 Euro H4 lenses with the 356 rings. Easy to do.
If you have the USA headlights (sealed beams) it will be a little bit more difficult to do.

I put a set of early 66-67 911/912 headlights on my 64C. The headlight rim matches the fender line perfect! It did require welding the tab in the bucket for the attaching screw at the bottom of the headlight rim.

This is Craig Richter's 1960 Coupe - "Lucrieta". Jack Staggs used 911 reproduction headlight rings from Eric Linden http://www.autoforeignservices.com/ Absolutely beautiful rings, just like original!
I must say this is one of my absolute favorite mods on a B or C; probably what Porsche should have done originally. I believe one of the reasons the Pre A and A cars are so loved is because of the curvy front fender and lower headlight bucket location, in comparison to the B & C cars. With the 911 headlight ring on a B or C, the line down the fender never breaks for the headlight ring or lens. Additionally, having the lower bolt/screw hidden inside the bucket instead of exposed at the bottom of the ring, fastened to the body, helps clean up the front end.

I don’t see these 911 Headlight Rings on Foreign’s website or EBay store. Anyone know if they still sell or about another source?

Try calling Eric on the phone. Maybe he’s in between production runs...Conrad Carter wrote:I don’t see these 911 Headlight Rings on Foreign’s website or EBay store. Anyone know if they still sell or about another source?

Re: 911 headlights on a 356
Just remembered, I did fit 911 buckets into the wings prior to mounting the 911 lights. Makes installation a bit easier. I'm 12V as well.

Hi Ed, the front lights are long range Cibie Oscars, they were the first choice for rally cars back in the 70's/80's, oh, and I'm running yellow lenses on the 911 lights now.
