Hello everyone. Friend of mine has this 1956 porsche. Non matching motor, comes with a 1960 motor, has been in storage for a few years. Orignal colour is lago green. No rust, pretty clean car.
He wants to sell it to me for $55-65.... is that a good price?? If I don't buy it because it's out of my price range anyone else interested
Should I buy this 1956???

Important question: How much rust was there before it was painted and how was it repaired?

Whenever anyone writes a 356 without a Gazillion Dollar restoration has "No Rust" My eyes glaze over and my brain shuts down.

Unless you tear the car apart and open up every boxed piece and crack open every spot welded lap joint there is going to be rust somewhere.Doug McDonnell wrote:Whenever anyone writes a 356 without a Gazillion Dollar restoration has "No Rust" My eyes glaze over and my brain shuts down.
