Pre A single stud seat rails; need source/ID of nut

#1 Post by Daryl Bertram »

Finally got our '54 cab off the rotisserie after 25 years. The one thing missing are the nuts to fasten the outer single stud seat rails. Can someone ID them and are they obtainium? Thanks.

Thanks guys. We're still in disbelief to see the car on the ground after all these years. The big '?' is would the factory door gaps change down off the rotisserie, top down and minus the interior braces. They did not...sigh of relief. If I had it to do over I would skip the rotisserie and use the Roland method of putting the car up supported by it's suspension. Also, when our son was born in '93 I stopped working on the car...in retrospect even a few hrs a week would have moved the project along to this point much sooner. However, on the rotisserie the car became a handy hiding place for Christmas gifts in December. :-)
