1964 or 1965 Porsche 356 Wanted
I am considering a green 356 SC on Auto Trader for roughly $68k. Just wondering if anybody has any insight on this car. Owner states it was restored by a doctor and she did not get records with the car. It does have matching numbers and COA. Thank you for your input.

Even more important than having a nice shell and interior is the underbelly. These cars are expensive and very susceptible to rust. Repairing rust is extremely expensive! These cars could rust out in 3-4 years if driven in rain and snow. I would not buy it without an extensive PPI and personal viewing. 68K could be a nice driver's car, but sounds a little low for a completely rebuilt matching numbers car so there might be shortfalls underneath.

The only green 64 Coupe I'm aware of for sale is this one: https://classics.autotrader.com/classic ... /100924747
It's been for sale a while but it's not an SC as stated by Scott. I'm having trouble finding an Irish Green '64 356SC for sale on Autotrader or elsewhere at the moment.

Worth looking underneath it for sure. Not sure what carbs they are, but someone here will know.

I forgot to post the link and now it has been taken down. I am in St. Paul. I believe it is still for sale though and will post some pictures shortly
