I was told the originals had the stars on the narrow side of the mirror; the opposite side of the one shown. That said, I'm no expert so someone with more knowledge can confirm or clarify.

REPRO! Mike is right about the placement of the Made in Germany logo. It is on the opposite side of the one shown.

+1 on repop. the stars on the originals are also more centered in the 'made in Germany' circle.
