Re: Devin D Porsche Race Car Project
Yea, sounds like you’ve got it covered.
I was mainly wondering about the coil overs. They wouldn’t let the Sprites use them, but then again, the sprites never had coil overs. I remember a rule about not allowing anything being “heim jointed” that wasn’t factory that way. They disallowed roller rockers with the sprites too, but I doubt that made much difference,...I saw plenty of them anyway, haha.

Re: Devin D Porsche Race Car Project
Hello Jay,
Yea, I kinda took a hiatus due to a big move and shop/house building project.
The wife got a job in Auburn AL and it took three years to move,...we did it in stages.
Finally got into one place, sold some stuff, but kept all the automotive and boat stuff,..priorities eh?
Thought I’d jump back in now that there’s a lull in the building phase.
I’ve always liked the lines of the Devin’s and am following Cliff’s build closely.
Looks like a load of fun,...and he’ll probably end up with a damn good power to weight ratio.

Re: Devin D Porsche Race Car Project
Still waiting to have the roll bar and steering column installed. Soon I think. If anybody wants a replica of my steering wheel it can be arranged.

Cliff
Can you supply one in right hand drive form?
I guess I could always use an Imperial one.
Happy New Year to you.

Re: Devin D Porsche Race Car Project
Happy New Year John! It would be easy to convert a Devin to RHD. Or, I could take you for a couple of laps on a track and you could pretend you are driving.

Re: Devin D Porsche Race Car Project
The Devin left the fabricator last week and is back at the body shop. It shouldn't be long until the body is in paint.
