More. This is the cap to the washer bag. We found another version (stamped with SWF only), and the reproductions don't have the company stamp. Yet we found another reproduction version with different serrations on the side. Funky stuff. Our original is on the top, another original in the center, and a reproduction on the bottom:

On the washer bag caps, all you need is the Made in Germany and the SWF die stamps and you're good to go!

If you want stamps made, similar to those in Brad's photo, I have a friend who can reproduce stamps in any size. He uses a Deckel pantograph and the quality of the work is exceptional. contact me if you want his contact info.

Isn't it rather fraudulent using stamps to indicate repros are original, when they aren't ?

It’s a joke nowadays, all these folks selling “original” tool kits for thousands and thousands of dollars. When something that was supposedly “originally” produced 50 years ago, looks as if it was only produced a week ago, there is something shady going on. Same with all of the reproduction literature supposedly being original.. and on, and on, and on... aren’t there any honest people left in this world?

The problem with reproducing something is that often, the part may not be "correct" for all years of 356 production. I certainly understand that one with my efforts on generator/fan belts with PORSCHE PHOENIX lettering. - Early 356 belts were Continental! Anyway, please know that my answer below is only for C production. Answer for anything before that can be, and probably is, different.

My 356C came with factory wiring for the fog lights and spade connectors. The switch had spade connectors, just like all the other connections under the dash.
