Jack Arct

#1 Post by Bruce Edge »

I may have missed a notification earlier.
I was saddened to learn that Jack Arct has pass at the age of 89.
He was a die hard 356 enthusiast , accomplished wood worker, and of coarse world known wood rim steering wheel restorer and make.
Another old world craftsman gone. Jack Arct April 7 1928--June 25 2017

I was very sorry to read of Jack's passing. I was marveling at the quality of my wood rimmed wheel throughout my trip to Lime Rock this weekend and read this post when I got home. Jack was a true craftsman and I am proud to have his name on my wheel.

I'm saddened to read about the passing of Jack Arct. I never actually met him but corresponded with him via email on several occasions. He was also the "go to guy" for sun visor restorations. He was an "old school" kind a guy who would restore your visors, send them to you with a invoice for payment. May he rest in peace.

I also am sad to learn of his passing. He did a great job restoring my VDM wheel ten years ago.
