Re: Post your favorite 356 pics...
What is extra special about this picture, the present owner of this Gullwing is a close friend and lives just a few miles from me. When this picture surfaced, of course, it was sent to my friend with the question of: Could this be your car?
Several days passed and his answer to me was, YES! It seems the original owner of the car was an AF pilot and in the pictures he received with this car, included some shots of the owners wife in his flight jacket and this discussion picture was not included with the pictures that came with the car.
Imposter or poser..... I can be both! What fun! Glen, always a privilege to read your posts.
Thanks to JLC for reviving this shot and to David for validating the picture's content.

From our local Cars & Coffee gathering. The '59A is admired as we exit the gathering of a local enthusiasts private residence:

Sweet! Looks very much like mine, except for the extra rust on the from panel - that door though, is almost an exact match!Dan Kalinski wrote:From our local Cars & Coffee gathering. The '59A is admired as we exit the gathering of a local enthusiasts private residence:
Was interesting to look at the larger image and see a few subtle differences, most notably the colour of the indicators and the windshield washers.

1969, upstate NY, VIN 53733 I think. Needed more room so we sold it and bought a 1966 Plymouth Valiant 170 which was luxurious, it had heat.
I had nothing to do with the bondo-nose.
