"concealing"; like a shoulder holster?
Oh, you meant counseling.
OK, so you fixed it; now my comment makes no sense; spoilsport. :?

Pointing out that I can't spell is another micro aggression! More counseling please.

You want aggression? How about "affect" and "effect"? :P

I'll offer my counseling services at the next Lit Meet in the lounge are of the LAX Hilton. You provide the beverages and I the counseling. I have no license, no credentials and am half deaf but can, in a professional manner, nod my head at the appropriate times and utter profound statements like, "uh-ha" and "I see"....

I'll be the guy sitting alone with the beanie with propeller.

It took a call and some pointed comments before I got this emailed response (she/they had closed it and were simply going to ignore it):

"Hi Ron,
We have received you statement that you only do business one day out of the year in the city of Los Angeles. This account has been closed out.
Thank you,

Sic "...you statement..."
So it seems clear that the reference to "7 days a year" requirement is correct. See ya in LA.

The organizers are evidently forced by the state to require that business (but not amateur) vendors get a sales tax license, which I have done for the past two years, but no one (neither the organizers nor the Great State of California) ever checked that I indeed had one, and I never charged the stupid tax. Still, I did file a tax return last year and will do so again this year; I promise (hand on heart). That said, both ballrooms appeared full of vendors, and the buyer audience seemed to be up again this year. The value of this event is huge, for vendors and buyers, with rare parts, books, models, and posters going to those who want and need them, at fair prices. This year's tours on Thursday and Friday offered a great look at some amazing local restoration shops, and we enjoyed visiting the new Porsche Experience Center in Carson (including a great lunch in Restaurant 917). The Stoddard folks are most receptive to new ideas, too. Having attended most lit meets since 1984, and having driven 1000 miles each way to and from this one, I see a great future for this event!

A most excellent Porsche weekend! My thanks to Stoddard and all the vendors and businesses that hosted open houses.
