Panorama Classifieds 1969-1972 by chassis #

#1 Post by Phil Planck »

Several years ago I went through all the classifieds in a set of Panorams I have from 1969 to 1972. I made a nice Excel spread sheet with date of ad, name of seller, location and chassis number. Unfortunately, not being an Excel expert, when I tried to rearrange the sheet by chassis number, not all of the columns got rearranged. So, I lost the relationship to some of the other data. I just found my written notes which contain the correct relationship, so I am posting the chassis numbers. If one of these is your car, contact me and I will get you the other data. I have some engine numbers, if they were in the ad.

If your chassis number is not on this list, I have no information.

Nice job, Phil! :D

I am only sorry that my #87954 wasn't on your list, as I would love to know the ownership history of my car before 1975 when Harvey Smith bought it from David R. Koehn, a Wisconsin resident who has seemingly disappeared without a trace.

Otherwise, anything on S-90 engines #800629 and #802147 on your engine list?

Hi Frank,
I owned that car from July 1972 til March 1979.
Email me for further information. I have some previous owners and later owners in my records.

#12345 America Roadster belongs to Chuck Stoddard. It is also Vic's birth date which is why he wants it so bad! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Doug
I have no control on when my email button shows up in a post. Maybe it is because this was posted before the forum upgrades.

I do have control. Apparently with the loss of PM we have to go in and change "make email available to users" from no to yes.

Hi Phil - I know it has been quite a while since your orginal post, but would you be able to provide information on #84532? And perhaps, would you please provide the month/year of the issue in which you found it listed? Thank you!

I owned '52 1500S Coupe 1567 from 1968 to about 1988, sold to Steve Ruddock, probably dismantled, some parts to Tom Scott's first '52 356 Coupe restoration.
