Amazing fabrication Work Neil! You should consider manufacturing entirely new 356 chassis for the rest of us mortals.
Keep up the great work! Justin

Hi Neil,

Love your use of the original chassis as a buck for forming new finder panel. Your attention to detail is what brings us all back wishing we might have gained similar skills along the way. I could really use a few pointers in my adventure with a MIG welder. Being use to stick welding, handling a hose with wire spewing out the end in a controlled gas environment is give me pause.

Neil - just looked again at your thread from beginning to end. What a nicely done project - there aren't many with your kind of persistence!
There ain't much that you don't know about a 356 body now, that's for sure!

hi Andrew, thanks for checking in to the show lol, I have made some progress and made some corrections! but that's all part of it. tried many times to change the rear screen opening to accept the early window, it's coming along though now. the roof is almost ready to be welded to the chassis again.

It's fabulous to watch, I've nothing but admiration for you. It makes my paltry efforts look very modest by comparison.
