Re: What are the Most Enjoyable Modifications You've Made?
Sunroof Air Deflector is the most enjoyable modification so far. Fabricated from aluminum and plexiglass it just slips into place with no modification to the roof. No more wind hitting me in the forehead regardless of speed!

FWIW:
I never experienced any wind buffeting in my first 356 ('59 Sunroof) up to 85 mph with the sunroof open to any position.

Re: What are the Most Enjoyable Modifications You've Made?
My C came from CA without heater boxes and the headers now occupy that space so the gas heater was the answer especially since I have a collection of them.steve shea wrote:Bought an original Glaspar HT from Victor Miles for my speedster. It extends the drive season here at 2000m elevation. Also an LED clip on light that lives in the speedster for a night cockpit light. I put a couple of fluffed out down sleeping bags in the rear seat area. Those increase the dead air space by a lot so the stock heater actually works with the HT on. Hi Norm!

123 electronic ignition together with a new coil, plus J wilhoit recommended jetting on webers.
It feels like I have a brand new engine.
H4 lights is hardly a modification it's just a common-sense update.

The Electronic Turn Signal Flasher is a must for safety,
as well as the convex glass on the outside rear view mirror...

Steve,
Vic's Camber regulator is $425 plus shipping (as of last summer) and will fit 1956 and later tunnel case 356 transmissions.
Very nice upgrade, keeps the wheels from jacking up and the car stays quite flat around corners.

I have a set of CSP front disc brakes that are really changing my driving experience,
I can now enjoy the power of the SC engine in my A coupe.
Safety once again...

Sebastion, I've had Vic's compensater on every one of my cars since the mid 80s. I don't even consider it an upgrade, just a must have..............................................Jim.

Actually we kids bought it for my dad's Roadster for Father's Day some 45 years ago but every time I grip the steering wheel wrap (yeah, it's coming apart and I should replace it) it brings back a lot a lot of good memories had and good memories to be made.

What, no wine cooler or cigar humidor? Whenever doing anything to my 912, I ask myself if it'll make the car faster: less weight, more engine output, less unsprung weight, etc.

No comments on light weight wheels? Everyone always raves about the improvement.
