We start with the nose rebuild,inner and outer sheet metal is rebuilt.

Very cool project. Amazing how cleaned up the blasting makes the car.

I have a '53 coupe that's in a similar state as the first photo in this thread. What sort of media blasting is done to get the metal surface so clean? Soda? Plastic? Do you have to mask off the leaded seams and edges so the media blasting doesn't remove the soft lead?

plastic media .no masking you just have to trust your media guy and make sure he understands what you want.
