Jack Staggs' shop
On Friday afternoons, if I have time, I like to go to Jack's shop to see what he's working on and also just to catch up. Recently he had a few cars that he was working on and a few friends stopped by. I took a couple of pics which I thought were pretty cool. How often do you see 4 sunroof coupes together, all in different colors?

I now know the answer to the ongoing question of how many sunroof coupes were produced, It's 100%

Re: Jack Staggs' shop
Not to miss the obvious, all these tubs were C models, all with front and aft bumper overrides, one brown and three black interiors, all amber front signalers, two with and two without luggage racks, and all proud of the paint they wore. Considering the flat roof and worn fascia before them, everything seems to be period correct. No doubt they all remember one another and their birth place, a gathering of family without the chit chat.

Re: Jack Staggs' shop
I drive by Jack's shop sometimes. And I want a sunroof coupe. Cars don't know when another car is parked near them, even if the car is a replica of a 356! But I parked my replica at Jack's shop one day right next to a rusted out 356 B coupe. The coupe didn't call my car a poser, it just sat there quietly rusting away. I thought that was really nice of the B Coupe. Does this post have too much off topic content? Is it related to the "Jack's Shop" thread enough to not get deleted? I love Porsche 356 cars....

Today's RED pics... Enjoy!
As Jack was doing, I'm sure many of you will notice the difference and similarities between the two Speedsters.

Not only does Jack have a cool shop, he is one "Cool Guy" as well. Probably kept more 356s on the road than any one else on earth.

Sorry no blue today Roy, just 2 Silver metallic and 1 Dolphin grey, but they were nice!
BTW, I don't know if that's true Jim, but I do know he does his part and then some. He always has some extra time for customers on the phone, in person or just a guy who shows up on Friday's wanting to learn.
Enjoy...

Some interesting shots from 8/28: the steering wheel extender. Jack and I were talking and his thinking was that it was issued standard from the factory for all RHD cars and an option from the factory for T2, T5 and T6. Other people's input is welcomed.
