When the Rubber Hits the Road

Argh... It’s winter here in the upper mid-west... Okay... There is a lot of snow on the ground and it likely will not be going away anytime soon. The keeper cars have been tucked away under winterized wraps now for several months. That gnawing feeling of needing something to do that is car related with the group is getting stronger and stronger. Well... Here is the perfect solution.

The recently created TRANSPORTATION ARTISTS & AUTHORS GUILD is presenting its first ever members show right here in winter ravaged Minneapolis.
The exhibit by some of the worlds finest artists and authors is at the ART MINION Gallery see address below.

The exhibit runs from January 15th through February 14th 2009 with an opening reception January 17th from 4 to 8 PM.

Regular gallery hours are Thursdays through Saturdays 1:00 to 6:00 PM.

This promises to be a great event with new works by area artists and authors, all are for sale with many showing more reasonably priced prints and books. So, get over the winters need for speed.

Michael, looks like a neat exhibit. Not enough to persuade me to travel up there for a Twin Cities winter, but a nice opportunity for those in the area.

Hope we get to see some pictures of the exhibit?
