Something to treat brake rotors...

#1 Post by Bill Lawless »

Not specifically a 356 question, but with storing cars for the winter....

Is there something I can treat / rub on / do to my Brake rotors to keep then from getting surface rust on them.. Something that will ware off with 1st use or even wipe off..

Problem is I have to bring cars I use, including plow, into the garage/shop and melting keeps putting moisture in the shop....

-Bill
 Thanks,
Bill

The first brake application in the spring will remove any light surface rust.
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.....

If there is that much humidity/moisture in there I would be more worried about the rest of the car than the brake rotors. I think it needs its own enclosure.
