I have a 2004 Boxster S. A PO removed the factory CDR 23 radio and had a Alpine unit installed. The original radio is nowhere to be found. I don’t care for the Alpine unit and would like to put another CDR 23 in. I’ve managed to get my hands on one, but understand that in order to install it I need to know its code, which I don’t. Has anyone out there been in a similar fix, and if so, can you give me some advice? Thanks!

Check with a dealer, I seem to recall that they can access the code based on the radio serial number.
