CAD Drawing Needed!
Greetings all,
I am trying to make a set of one off bumperettes for my C coupe since I have removed the bumpers. I have had two friends start the project but then were not able to finish it due to just being to darned busy!
All I have is a scan in jpeg format, I want to go with the top profile in the image below. I have cardboard mock ups on the car so I know what it will look like, I just need someone with CAD experience to create a file, I have the machine shop that can do the cutting. Happy to pay for the services rendered.
I know we can do all sorts of cool stuff like rounded or beveled edges but right now I would be ecstatic just to get a basic file and be done with it. I want them to be 1/2" thick and do not want the slots or notch shown in the image.
Any ideas?

Re: CAD Drawing Needed!
Hi Sebastian,
I'm not sure what you are looking for but, maybe, something like this: a jpg and a dxf file.
I do dxf files that a shop uses to laser cut small models.
Let me know if there is anything I can change to help you.
I use Inkscape software to change a file from jpg to dxf. I have directions if anyone needs some help (or more confusion).
Whoops! Sorry, I can't attache the dxf file! Will look for your email.

Re: CAD Drawing Needed!
Hi Bob,
Very kind of you. Any type of file that can be fed to a laser cutter would be great.
I probably did not explain very well, on the original image, I don't want the slots or notch on the horizontal part, but do want the "cutout" in the bumperette where it is exposed outside of the car.
Here's a shot of the aforementioned cardboard mock ups:

Here is what I am trying to emulate:

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sebastian,
Check your email for a corrected dxf file.
Any questions?

So they're a combination of bumpers and tow hooks, cool.

Check with the company who will make them. They probably have a preferred file type. At least that is what my friend who taught Cad/Cam at a junior college told me to tell you.

Sebastian, that will be a nice look.
The rubber grommets you have on the holes, where did you source those.

Would you consider putting the cad drawing out there for other members should they wish to have a set produced.
