Just a coincidence.

I just bought my first smartphone and have been exploring its uses and I was listening to random rock music of what I call classic rock and a track called "So" by Joe Cocker on his "Hard Knocks" album came on, and then I noticed the album cover, and then I noticed the length of the track. Now I want to know the origin of the cover and what cars Joe owned. Oh Yeah, where is this car now?

Another coincidence...Every Saturday morning, a local TV channel has old re-runs of the detective show, 'Kojak', from the mid 1970s. In last Saturday's show, a criminal was sitting in a white sunroof 356. Unfortunately, they didn't show the rest of the car, so I couldn't tell if it was a B or C. Certainly a T-6. A few months ago, on a 'Mod Squad' re-run, the opening featured closeups of a white 356 C, apparently as part of a kidnapping plot.
Interesting abrasions on the Cocker car...and note the missing antenna...maybe this musician didn't like the radio!

Adam prolly sold it last year; check with him.
Oh, and why did you get the smart phone? No snark, just curiosity. (Off Topic?)

I got one because flip phones don’t work in Canada any more.

I did not want a smartphone but my local Wifi provider after 10 years was suddenly unable to provide me with a reliable supply of Wifi's but coincidentally AT&T started up a new 4g transmitter I can see on a ridge 3 miles from the house and suddenly I could get 5 bars of signal and a smartphone has a mobile hotspot which allows us to get Wifi for our PC's and TV shows for not much more than our Wifi cost. Downside is I went from a $30 flip phone which was all I needed to the $600 smartphone I did not want, though I could have gone cheaper I went 356 instead of VW1200.

The hot spot is great until you run out of "unlimited data". Unlimited data really means fast data for a week or so and very slow data for the rest of the month. I hope your supplier has been honest with you but they do like to leave out some important details. Streaming TV uses a lot of data.

I have had smart phones for many years and they really are great devices. I even use Bluetooth and an app on the phone to tune the 123 distributor on my 2133cc 356.

I got 22 gig with the phone but only 15 gig was hotspot use but found another deal where I buy a mobile hotspot with 100 gig of data per month. By the way my old flip phone was prepay and only $2 for 24 hours for unlimited calls the day I used it. $100 bought me 50 days of use which usually lasted me 4 months. Main use was shopping when getting instruction when I was in the supermarket.

I guess maybe I am the only one left with a flip phone that I only use when I travel. I have a hard line at home because when I moved here to the bottom of a valley there was no cell phone coverage.

Doug, if your service provider on the flip phone uses Verizon, it might not work after 2019. All phones using Verizon will have to be VoLTE capable as of January 1st. (I just replaced our two older phones.)

Cool 2010 clip from the BBC if you're a JC fan.

David,
Apparently Cocker had a 1995 Jaguar which sold in the Aspen classifieds last year. The article says he learned to drive with that car.

I saw that John, apparently it was the only car he ever owned and was a gift from his wife. I guess he was not in any sense of the word a car buff.
