My first shop truck.....62 SC I found at a trailer court in Columbus NE. I`ve always preferred the SC.......great workbench in the shop and can haul 4'x8'plywood.

Ben - Let's see some pics. I'm wondering if I've seen it around. Are you in SC?Ben Wainscott wrote:Jim,
Pic's on web site look nice. I just picked up a 67 euro delivery bus with safari windows and sunroof that's not to bad (isn't that what we all say at the start of a restoration). Bought it from a local San Clemente surfer who at 72 decided he wasn't using it as much use as it use to, so after 20+ years decided to sell it.

Ben
BTW, great pics Bil!

Re: BTW, Bus fan too:
I met Ben over the March 1st Porsche weekend at Jim Liberty's shop. I overheard him tell someone that he bought a bus out of San Clemente and naturally my ears perked right up. So I say, well... your name isn't Ben is it? Small world. Anyway, had a great conversation and always good to put a face with a name when you trade correspondence with someone over the forum. Ben was nice enough to email me the picture below of him (on the left) and his new to him VW Bus.
Ok, enough chit chat, check out the all the Porsche features. I like it a LOT!
Next up is Jim's double cab that made its debut at his open house. I'm going to post up some pics for him, since he's been saying for years he can't post pics and the re-design of the forum isn't completed yet. Once it's completed you're on your own again Jim and his beer was the coldest of all of the open houses so I figure I owe him one (or two)!

Jim claims it will be a "shop truck" but I'll have to wait and see what he actually hauls in it.
