Members' Old Cars - (Not 356 Porsche)

#1 Post by Adam Wright »

I made a point of not really restoring my Mustang. I like it the way it is, I did add the gold stripes and the Magnum wheels.

Looks good with the gold stripes, Adam.

I've had this MGB since 1985 when it was my only means of transportation. Now, sans top and side windows, it's only for fair weather driving.

After a full 356 a restoration, I am happy to say this was a beautiful find.
A low mileage Arizona 1986 Westy that was meticulously maintained and looked after by the PO.
It is actually easy to work on, and in a different way, very fun to drive

In 1971 I built a dune buggy from scratch. It was so impractical that I sold it soon after it was finished. So a few years ago I was feeling nostalgic and bought a half finished Berrien frame buggy. I finished it and got it licensed and guess what? Even as a fun car it is impractical, and crude. I was lucky to get my money out of it. You can't go home again?

Not sure if this will work, but here’s trying.

Thanks, Cliff. Here's another shot of the garage and cars that's appropriate for this time of year.

MGAs are beautiful cars.

I owned a Brit car that most find ugly but I always liked the look of. And that engine!!!! Awesome! 4-wheel disc brakes in 1959 too.
