Is there a new market for KonI!?

Being a member of the Silent Cal Running Club (I choose not to run), I also have no issue with those who chose to do so.
As a result, the engineers at Premat are now searching for those who do in the hopes of developing after-market dampers for running shoes:

That shoe is too complex for PreMat whose designs are simple and elegant. (Meaning, of course, that you design the complex out of your products.)

Not sure, since the linkage dims are not clear, but the design may put the roll-center too high for stability in sharp turns.
Seriously, if there were real advantages in cushioning the impact loads over careful design of 'normal' shoe soles, it might be worth something. But that hasn't been shown, and if you are running 26 miles, you leave your spit at home to avoid carrying extra weight, which these have.
