Bill,

Nice collection!! I too succumbed to the collecting bug! Here
are some pics of part of my collection. These are some of the
1/43 scale models in my collection. I also have about 40 Distler
tin metal Porsche models, which are my favorites!

Have you seen this one? It was produced by Schuco and sold thru Porsche Dealers and Schuco in Germany only as the 50year model.
I purchased several at Porsche I believe in 1989 in Germany.
They were limited in numbers to 2000.

Yeah, the toys are more addictive than the real cars, only because it's so easy to grab them. It gives me something to do at garage sales, junk stores, and big box stores, hunting for little Porsches.
I need some more shelves in my office, mine are full.

Re: Toys- JYE 356 + Garage

#15 Post by Stanley Kimmel »

They can be addictive. It is something to keep us old guys busy after passing the 356 to the next generation. Does anyone have info on the Spanish made JYE toy 356 which is spring propelled from its tin litho garage.? I inherited 2 from my late uncle and have never seen another for sale. One is pictured in the opening pages of the hard to find Book on Toy and Wind Tunnel Porsches. I have attached some pictures.
