Karmann Hardtop... 911

I get promotional emails from Porsche. I must have signed up at some point.

In the one I received today, there is a video shot in Porsche's vault about making the 2017 calendar. Lo and behold there is an early 911 with the same body style as a Karmann Hardtop. Anyone ever seen that before?

It's been in some books, either Ludvigsen's Excellence or Dirk Michael Conradt,s Purest Form. I believe it was a T-7

I remember reading about that car. I think it was one of the original concept cars for the 911 but my memory's not what it used to be.

Exactly, that's why it was a T-7. It was the next technical program after the 356 T-6
