For some reason my wife is letting me keep this in our living room.
My son made this table from an Acura engine for his room but he wanted to take some pictures of it in our living room because the lighting is better there. He jokingly told my wife we should keep it there and she agreed--I'm still trying to figure out why.
Now I'm having him look for an old Jag V12 to replace this one with. No idea if he'll have any luck finding one locally, but he's excited about the possibility. Then we'll get to see if my wife still thinks an engine in the living room is a good idea!

Did you include carpet lifts at the corners of the block's base? They'd save the carpet's pile from being crushed to hades.
