If it doesn't crack apart there then I'm home free.

A little more progress has been made. I have to have the car done in February so it is on the front burner now. Note the Devin logos on the gauges!

1200 lbs! That should be a fun ride. I think some Harleys are close to that.

The wiring is done. Fire system done. Plumbing done. Steering done. Brake bias adjuster installed. It takes more time than one would think.

I guess I had better put the engine together.

Looking good sir. I'm guessing you have installed something, sorry I don't know what it's called, to check for metal in the oil?

Thanks Neil. The billet aluminum part that the oil lines go to and from is an Oberg filter which contains a very fine mesh screen sandwiched between the top and bottom halves. Yes the advantage to it is that even small particles are very visible during an inspection. It doesn't have as much surface area as the usual automotive filter but it wont blow apart and we don't need high milage filtration as much as we need a warning that the engine is failing.

Wow - what a nice looking Devin. I don't think that there were ever many of these finished to that kind of standard. Good luck at Sebring

Thanks Jack. I enjoyed talking to you today and your ZF steering box will be a nice improvement to the Devin.
