Penske's ? Very nice, your Edd and Mike cost sheet will end up looking like mine....
Somehow it seems wrong to spend more on the shocks than I paid for the car!

The body repair is coming along nicely and I should get it in phase 1 condition next week. The frame guy has made many of the pieces but has not tacked it together. I expect a burst of energy soon, I hope.

On the bright side, my other super slow project should be painted in a week or two.

The car will be strictly for racing. 170hp, 1600cc, 6" wheels. 205 tires, 4 wheel disc, close ratio trans, undetermined weight that should be low.

Factory original! It is designed to reduce lift at speeds over 200mph.

Thanks Dennis. I saw a picture of your blue car at Monterey this year and it looked great. You really shifted into high gear to finish that project in time for the race. If you are still selling it you should post some pictures of it here to stir interest or just so people can see a nice example of a Devin D racer.

Great picture! Post a bunch more of the details of the car so I can get some build ideas.

You definitely have the seat down low which I like. Did you tilt the back more reclined while dropping the seat bottom?

yes i lowered the seat almost 1.5 in. --also got rid of the fiberglass seat and put in a alum. seat but v'd it back to give me more arm room also put in proper pedals to give me more leg room as well ---you are a bigger guy than me so consider doing this ---now is the time ---also moved the firewall forward----looking at the old rusted frame i noticed that the front of the trailing arm is just a bolt --i made heavier arms and a large heim joint and made it double shear [ this is a must do ] regards kaz
