Re: UK's Independance Day !
Congratulations Jay! British people should be governed by people in England, not people in Belgium. I hope and expect this to result in an even stronger bond between America and England. Expect at least 2 years of doom and gloom propaganda and then watch England thrive. I wish all Brits the very best.

Dear John,
I hope your car is in perfect condition and will not need parts from the Continent.
Given the downfall of the GBP and potentially higher import duties you might eventually need to trade your speedster for an all-English MG B.
What's the say? You cannot have your cake and eat it. Bon appétit!

I'm sure the currencies will stabilise once the financial sector has finished profiting from the panic! It took three years to negotiate Greenland out and three years to write 29,000 word regulations for bananas, so this could go on for ever and our chaps might even negotiate a deal. Every country operates out of self interest and they employ 50,000 of which 10,000 are paid more than our PM. Having a foreign accent doesn't make them sharper than the Donald.

And it's your turn next. If the Great British public can vote this in then the greater American public can vote Trump in !
God help us all.
(and that's all I'm saying about that on a Porsche forum )

The sad side of it is all bickering and vitriol on FB etc. We all need each other more than an issue that'll barely affect most.

On the basis that our US investments took a hit today as well I will make this comment. I believe in England and I believe that England will flourish because of the hardy spirit and intelligence of her people. I do not see that degree of character in all the EU countries and that makes me think that England is better off on their own. There will be pain but it wont last very long. I wish you all the best regardless of how you voted.
