Fantastic race so far. Listening via Radio Le Mans and watching via the very nice WEC app that runs on your smart phone. Covers the whole World Endurance Championship (WEC). No commercials.

Epic race.

Those poor guys from Toyota. I almost feel sorry for them. Go Porsche!

Fox Sports kept moving coverage and also thought NASCAR qualifying was more important.

I was actually really pissed when I turned it on to watch at 10PM in NJ and saw that they changed the programming, noting that you could watch it online but they were showing NASCAR on TV instead. And earlier in the day they did the same thing and showed some fight instead. EVEN THOUGH THEY SCHEDULED THESE TIMES TO SHOW LE MANS!

It was just an unpleasant reminder just how much I can't stand Fox.

But as far as the race goes, yeah you gotta feel for the Toyota team. But then again, if the car broke down 23 hours into the race instead of the last lap, is it really any different?

It was covered mainly on Fox Sports 2. Although it started on Fox 1.
You have to remember the days when we finally got black and white coverage in September; between ski jumps, etc.
I think we're spoiled.

Yeah I had the schedule showing the different times on Fox 1 and Fox 2 but they didn't follow that schedule, at least not where I live.

A few years ago it was shown in its entirety on Speed channel, 24 hours straight. Then that channel changed its entire format, only showing a couple house of the start, a couple in the middle and the last couple hours. They also stopped showing World Rally at that time...NASCAR just took over everything. And I hate NASCAR more than I hate Fox.

That blue-eyed Toyota executive was literally crying. I kind of felt sorry for them, like how I felt sorry for Mexico after their 0-7 soccer beat-down at the hands of Chile. Not!
