"will require an extensive restoration" That might be a tad optimistic.

If Stoddard starts a 'We can save them all" contest for 912's, this one would win hands down!

Is it numbers matching? That should see the crusher! I think at some point a car can be not restorable.

Advertising this car up for sale completely devalues the credibility of the Beverly Hills Car Club, Inc. Ostensibly, they have Ferraris, Maseratis, Porsches, Mercedes for sale and they offer this piece of junk?? Really???? Times must be tough over in Beverly Hills!!

I am pretty sure it is just a joke. Actually it is sort of funny as a satire of the feeding frenzy for ANYTHING Porsche. Scrolling through all the pictures is very amusing. I don't think that anything on that car would be of any use.

I was thinking it's a pretty a good looking car for the BHCC.

$6,950 too rich for your blood ? There's an E Type.

Isn't the license plate frame worth that?

It's all just clever marketing. So that that they can put their other none restored cars are on a higher price point.

This outfit has been posting a lot of crap on The Samba VW site. At least the condition was described as "poor" but really, a good parts car or restoration candidate? I don't think so.

On the other hand, that E-type is the perfect car to deliver to the guys in the UK that make the lightweight replicas. The only thing you'd get back is a totally sweet E-type that actually looks right. After a big check, though...

These guys are in Australia, but there are a couple of firms in the UuK that do the same thing:

Don't know if things are tough in Beverly Hills, but Beverly Hills Car Club is not in Beverly Hills, in spite of their claim to the contrary. They're east of downtown LA.
