I am considering the purchase of an early 80's 911 SC in the Washington DC area. I am on the west coast and want to have the car inspected first. Can any one recommend a reputable shop to perform a thorough Pre Purchase Inspection in Maryland, just north of DC? Thank you!

Scott - you might want to try the 91 forums - pelican parts, samba, etc. Also, you could search for the local chapter of PCA - they probably have a web page where you could ask a question.
