A E Numan on the Samba posted this, maybe ask him.

I moved from Berg linkage to Synk-Link and couldn't be more pleased, it gets rid of all of those joints and pivot points. After you make the initial adjustment for WOT its easy to adjust the second carb.

I installed a SyncLink on my 912 with Webers. Love it. I did need to fab a hole through the shroud. To remove mine I would need to:
1) disconnect cable at carb. Take it off the wheel on carb
2) take knarp off cable end
3) reach behind shroud and pull cable (including housing)through toward front of car

You should now be able to remove fan shroud. Hope this works

I finally found the person that now owns Sync Link or SyncLink or whatever. Very nice guy! Peter Staszkiw is his name and he is located in Pa. His e-mail is synclinkthrottle@gmail.com. I now have a set of installation directions so shoot me an e-mail if you would like a copy. I wanted a set of cables (didn't want/need the sheath) for accelerator pedal to engine ($20 shipped) and cross cable (between carbs)($10 shipped). PayPal'd $30 to him on Friday and received the cables today (Monday)! WOW!!!
