The State of California is trying to oust SCRAMP (Sports car racing association of Monterey peninsular) the club that organizes the races at Luguna Seca.
Scramp started out out in 1957 when a group of local business men built the track.
The State of California have been having secret talks with ISC (International Speedway Corporation).
This is a for profit publicly trading company. SCRAMP is a totally non profit organization that have invested $50 million in developing the track. Annually they donate $250,00 to charity and local organizations. In addition to the $200 million income generated in the local area.
Do not let this happen.
