911 Forum Recommendations
Like some other 356 owners, I also own a 911. I would like to find a forum for air cooled 911s that hopefully compares with the quality of the 356 Registry forum.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 911 Forum Recommendations
Jim, thanks for your reply.
your suggestion looks like a great forum, but looks like it is dedicated to 911 cars through 1973. Perhaps I should have mentioned that my car is a 1977.
thanks, Rick

I am pretty confidant you will not find a Forum as good a this one.
Other Forums have too many keyboard warriors.......
Good luck with your search.

Have you looked at Rennlist, subscribe for $17.95 to get full access. There is also a daily digest for each forum that you subscribe to. I have found the 993 forum to be equal to the 356Registry, also the classifieds are huge, but take a while to search daily. https://rennlist.com/forums/911-forum-56/

Re: 911 Forum Recommendations
Jim, Bill and Steve,
Thanks for your recommendations, I will start using the sites.
John,
I agree that the 356 Registry Forum is a great one. The member advice was extremely helpful when I refurbished my coupe. Many helpful people willing to share their knowledge.
Thanks,
Rick

Language barrier aside, you might like to try a foreign forum or two...
https://911uk.com and http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/index.php are both excellent as long you don't have too much trouble with your potato potato and tomato tomato.

Re: 911 Forum Recommendations
+1 for pelican. Some real helpful folks on there. I didnt know anything about Fuel injections and once i bought gages, and their help, i was able to diagnose problems and repair them. To be fair, there are a lot of unrelated topics but you can choose not to read them. I have a 78 SC as well as a 60 roadster

Mike
Thanks for the 911UK suggestion. I have spent quite a bit of time in England, so I'm prepared for the potato or potato and tomato or tomato experience.
Brock,
Glad to hear that Pelican has been helpful for your 911. I will check their forum. Thanks.

Other than forums, if you don't already have it in your library, Wayne Dempsey's 101 Projects For Your 911 is an excellent read.

I am also a member of Pelican and the Early 911S Registry. You should look at all of them.
