Ok - so I have been around a long time and came from the old country but I guess the vw and 356 and 912 and etc are in my blood. I was born in 1940. Here are two pictures of some of my cars and myself.

This is my 1964 VW Karmann Ghia vintage racer #70:

This is only part of my collection of cars:

Born 1955, got my '62 S Notch and joined the Registry in 1995.

Took it apart and started a protracted resto on it in 2002, hope to get it done before this year is out.

You Are Only As Old As You Feel

#41 Post by Tom Farnam »

Born 13 February 1945, been watching the "baby boomers" behind me all my life. Bought first Porsche in 1970, got acquainted with original owner of 89639 in Central Indiana Region of PCA (also with Mike Robbins) and bought 89639 in June of 1971.

Have been less active with 356 in past couple of years as wife and I have been racewalking marathons. Since April of 2004 have done three full marathons (26.2 miles), 15 half marathons (13.1 miles) and well over a thousand miles of training. A bit like my autocross in the old days, never super fast but competing and having fun.

Personal and car pics being posted a bit at a time, lots of them to come.

Born 1973. Bought my 1963 Super 90 coupe in 2007. Joined the registry shortly after. Never participated in 356talk due to archaic format & difficulties sifting through posts. Not much of a computer user but I turn my own wrenches and am looking forward to using the forum and taking advantage of the wealth of knowledge and experience of its members.
