Hi Vic, Took your advice re the Smileys but all I got was a capital D with two dots, could you please check again with your 8 - 12 year old source and tell me what I am doing wrong ! Also thanks for your Camber Regulator which I have on two of my cars which work a treat.

I'm a little slow so this just occurred to me... This thread is a very effective advertisement for Unobtanium. Ironic don't you think?

I just checked my spelling of Adam's company name. If obtain is spelled obtain then is Unobtanium really a company that helps people get a tan? 8)

Cliff,
I've had people correct me on the spelling over the years and I tell them all the same thing, how do you know how to spell a made up word. I might as well tell my six year old her imaginary friend has the wrong hair.

I thought it was so you wouldn't get into trouble with Mark Donohue over copyright issues.
And I think you should CAPITALIZE your signature.

Actually I have an earlier reference for the name. I bought an A coupe out of nowhere TX many years ago and the guy who I bought it from loved the name. He said they used to say it while working at Bell Helicopter in the 50s. He said the fanciful artists down the hall would draw these pretty pictures and bring them down to him in engineering and say, "Build this."
His response about half the time was, "That's Unobtanium, just because you can draw it, doesn't mean it can be built."

Of course it came from the mil-aero industry. It's the raw material for the ambihelical hex nut.
