The car I sold to buy my first Porsche

#1 Post by Matthew Devereux »

This a spin off from the R&T thread....I sold this car when prices rose a few years back so I could get my first Porsche (a 993)

Nice color!

Is that a stock/original color?

Thanks Sebastian. It is quite striking but I don't think it was the original B5 bright blue hue. I bought the car in boxes as a rolling shell less power train. The owner, a bodyman, had painted it and left it stored in a shop so it was covered with over spray and dust. Even then I could tell it was straight with good paint. I sold this car and bought a one owner '95 Carrera in 2008 which I drove home (1700 miles) with my father. This car led to my 356 and 911E.
