Priorities

#1 Post by jay abrams »

I looked at the cost of a recently released new Porsche book, and then asked myself what was the best use of that money. I looked around on the Registry site, and Diane Morrill had a link to the American Cancer Society on the Goodie Store page. I was unable to get that link to work, but I found a way on my own. So easy even a caveman could do it.

Done.

Am I missing something? Wasn't it Jay who started this thread and mentioned the book and referenced a donation to cancer research?

Supporting the "cause" was Rosemary. If it was Bill, does it matter? The issue was about cancer. It has probably impacted all of us whether personally or a member of our family or a friend or co-worker. I lost my mom and a brother to it, too many relatives, friends and co-workers to mention and I had a bout with skin cancer. So, whether it is Jay, Rosemary, Bill, Manny, Moe or Jack, the topic is valid.

If the issue deviates from that (i.e. Questioning the author of a post), then perhaps a new thread is warranted.

Just my 2 cents worth....

Sampson specifically mentions the book. Jay does not. Assuming Jay is referring to the same book would be the same as assuming Bill is posting as Rosemary. I choose to make neither assumption. All I know for sure from these posts is that a Sampson is posting and Jay did not buy a Porsche book.

My point is that the original topic was a donation to cancer. Nothing more...

Enjoy your day.

To whom it may concern:
Personal comments of a derogatory nature, if you feel they must be made, are more appropriate to make directly to the member via the 'email' button.
I think I talk for the majority that very few are interested in public squabbles.
Thank you for your understanding.
