This is a diorama that I made that shows my brothers Speedster prior to it's restoration. It was done so that he could remember what it looked like as it in sat in his garage for 30 years. Restored in it's original color of white, the Cadillac blue metallic is only a memory and the color on this model. The garage (about 10"X8") was fashioned from photos provided by his wife, Beverly, and daughter, Evelyn. The project was done as a surprise to celebrate the completion of the restoration.

Not sure if this qualifies as art, I know my wife wouldn't go for it.

Diorama ? So that's what they're called !

Here's the diorama Hayleys sister made for her a couple of years ago. The car is 1:18, that's Hayley with her head in the car, wrench in one hand, bar of chocolate in the other.

Everything else, from paints to tools, giant ginger cat, red shoes, collection of pearl handled fruit knives hanging on the wall... is part of her life. The chandelier and candles are electric.

Not sure it's art though. Image

This to me is a piece of art - an original panel from a Porsche Spyder - 550-0018, which is now owned by the Porsche family.

Trying to get a collection of scripts to make into a triptych or the like. Love the simple lines and details of our cars, so often I shoot odd views. ;)
