For those of us who are 356 wrenches rather than IT guys, how do you find it?

Brian
I was a "lurker" here for many months before I joined about 3 weeks ago. This really wasn't going to be the subject of my first post. Greetings to all anyway. The Latest News looked as Brian put it above, as best I remember, every time during my "lurking" non-member days. Today I happened to look at news and events since I'd like to participate in a local event - I see there is a Palms to Pines that is not too far from me. I was surprised to learn of a lawsuit which I'd never heard of but has been in court more than a year and on which it seems a lot of money is being spent. It's hard to figure out how much over $10,000 which remains a lot of money to me. Since I'm only out $45 and at least I can still afford that I suppose it's not a big deal but I sure wish I had known that a club I was joining was being sued by and was suing a member, a famous one in the Porsche world at that. I'm not quitting, but, I should have been told I think. Why waste $ on more appeals? How much in total has been spent to date? I'm not going anywhere, but, this is certainly a curiosity to me.

For happier days, hope to see you in Palm Springs. Meanwhile I think I'll go back to lurking - it seems safer.

It's at the top of the list - now. It wasn't when I transcribed verbatim what I saw earlier. Since I didn't capture a screen shot, my word of honor will have to suffice.

A jaded observer could conclude my question prompted the webmaster to correct for the missing update. A more generous observer could conclude it was some mysterious "stale cookie" issue that fixed itself, untouched, while I went to lunch.

Jim Nelson,

Makes sense, we couldn't have non-members reading it.

Brian, When a RICO conspiracy gets involved, you will find out very soon how unpleasant this will be. Like using a nuclear bomb to kill a gopher.

Although Mr. Dunn and I have our differences that is simply not an appropriate way to refer to him or to anyone on what is a community forum open to the public. I've been called and continue to be called names, including ones that are clearly intended to be sexual harassment on this forum and didn't and don't like it one bit. It is just wrong.

I'm referring to this:
On September 19, 2013, suit was filed against all current and several former Trustees and Officers in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Eastern Division, Case No 2:13-cv-00929. The Complaint alleges Mail & Wire Fraud, Civil RICO Conspiracy, Breach of Fiduciary Duties and Intentional Interference with a business Relationship and demands damages exceeding $100,000.00 and statutory fines and penalties.

No reference to Mr Dunn was implied or intended. This litigation against us has been taken to ridiculous lengths, and the Registry--it seems to me--has been trying to do what it can to mitigate what has been a bitter dispute. But the latest salvo is over the top. Reasonable people can differ, but they work out solutions. I think the Registry has tried to do so, and in that, I'm one of the fellows supporting Mr. Dunn, not the other way around.

I can't help you if you somehow get sexual harassment out of that somehow, I don't see a reference. An ass (Webster) is "informal- a foolish or stupid person".
